How can I fix my rhapsody app from lagging!?

After the recent update for the rhapsody app for my iPod touch 4 when ever I click on a song it takes 10sec to play the song and won't show the songs length or or album cover or what ever for awhile then if I repeatively tap the screen the whole app closes out and the song ends .
