Where to buy cheap music?

So I'm looking for a website where I can buy music for a good price and not itunes. I looked into rhapsody but figured out if you stop subscribing all the music you downloaded won't play anymore. I just want a cheap legal website that dependable. Help please. Btw I don't mind paying a monthly fee if it's reasonable.
