Wasn't Rahm Emanuel diqualified from Chicago mayoral race? He was sworn in today?!?

In Jan. it was ruled that he was disqualified from the race due to residency requirements. Then, it was said that 2 weeks was not adequate time to remove his name from the ballot. Now he is the mayor??? Sworn in today? The articles I have read regarding his swearing in make NO MENTION of his previous disqualification. Does anyone know what happened...besides regular Chicago politics?
